Meditation is an activity we work with our mind. Mind is a part of our life. People know to take care body by taking good food, having exercise regularly, taking care everything they eat and breathe. Not many people know that meditation is an activity we do to take care our mind.
To meditate, we will focus our mind with a part of the body. It can be breathing pathway, any moving part of the body or center of the body. Mind will be observed not to wander anywhere.
Objective of meditation is to guide mind to be still. Stillness develops mind to be pure, clear and bright. Peacefulness, joyfulness, happiness and wisdom appear when mind becomes still.
