An exceptional opportunity to be ordained as a monk with Pa Pae teaching monks in Europe
This year teaching monks from Pa Pae Meditation Retreat will join European Ordination Program (EOP) held in Belgium. It will be first time monks from Pa Pae will be a part of this annual activity. This year the Europe Ordination Program will be organized at Wat Phra Dhammakaya Belgium from 8th to 28th June.

We warmly invite you to join one (or both) of our upcoming information evenings to learn more about the ordination program and have all your questions answered.
Dates: Saturday 21 March 2026 and/or Saturday 11 April 2026
Time: 7:00 to 8:00PM CET
During the sessions we will provide you with more information about the program schedule and structure, participation requirements and preparation, and there is also an opportunity to rehearse ordination chanting.
The information evenings will be hosted by experienced teachers, Lp Pisit, Lp Sander, and former program participant, Heiko. Attending one information evening is usually sufficient, but you are very welcome to join both if you would like. These sessions provide a relaxed and open space to explore the program and connect with the teaching team. We look forward to meeting you there!

1. Location
Location of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Belgium is very good for anyone in Europe to travel and join. Only half an hour with the train from Station Brussel - Zuid in Belgium to Lede train station. For driving with car is also convenient. Not just the participants who would like to join the program, their family and friends can have also this opportunity to join ordination program that will be held on 14th June. Then it will be a great moment to share and spread peaceful energy to their beloved people.
2. Well-designed program with experienced teaching monks
All participants will be first with 2 weeks program which guides the monk life foundation. It will support new monks to be able to develop their experience with the wisdom of Buddhism. Last week all monks will go to a peaceful place to focus more with the meditation. All teaching monks of this program including monks from Pa Pae Meditation Retreat are well selected as experienced ones who dedicated their time to spread Dhamma to all participants.
3. Scholarship
All participants will be grant with the supporters from Thailand and in Europe. Different to Beamonk program at Pa Pae, European Ordination Program (EOP) offer a free of charge program to all participants.
4. Open to stay as monk for longer time
For anyone, especially who have been in Pa Pae before, who would like to stay as monk for the longer period. After finish the program on 28th June, it’s possible to go to Thailand as monk with the teaching monks and continue practicing monk life for the longer time.

Qualifications for those who would like to join the program are:
Male between 18-70 years old
A person with acceptable good behaviour as observed and can be attested to by their peers
A person who lives a simple life, has good health, has no contagious diseases, mental illnesses, or physical impairments.
A person who has no drug addictions or criminal records
A written consent from a parent, guardian, spouse, or closest living relative is required for those who wish to join The EOP.
Applicants requiring a guarantee letter for Europe must be vouched for by Dhammakaya Temple or one of its international branch temples i.e. by a monk or temple employee.
